Dr. Frazier received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky in 1993. She then continued her education at UK, graduating with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1994. Recently, Dr. Frazier received board certification as an oncology specialist.
Dr. Frazier began her professional career in 1991 as a Pharmacy Technician with Humana Pharmacy in Lexington, Kentucky where she was promoted to Staff Pharmacist in 1993. In 1994, Dr. Frazier moved to the Markey Cancer Center as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist, where she remained until 1997. At this time she was appointed Pharmacy Director for Hospice Care Plus, Inc. in Richmond, Kentucky. Dr. Frazier returned to University of Kentucky in 1999 and was promoted to lead Pharmacist in the Outpatient Oncology Satellite. In 2000, Dr. Frazier moved to National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas where she served as Director of Pharmacy until 2004, at which time she moved back to the tri-state area, taking a position as the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Dr. Frazier joined Cabell Huntington Hospital as a Clinical Oncology Specialist in 2006 and was later promoted to Clinical Manager in 2009. Her most recent position was System Director of Pharmacy at Holzer Health Systems in Gallipolis, OH.
Dr. Frazier has taught many seminars and coursework on a variety of drug-therapy topics to learners of all levels and healthcare professions, including medical students, physicians, nurses, hospice caregivers, and other pharmacists. She has presented at over 30 local and regional conferences. Additionally, Dr. Frazier has precepted multiple students since 1994 from University of Kentucky, Midwestern University College of Pharmacy Glendale, AZ., University of Cincinnati, Ohio Northern University and University of Charleston.
Throughout her career, Dr. Frazier has contributed her time and expertise to over 60 committees and community organizations. She is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the WV Society of Heath-System Pharmacists, where she was Regional Vice-President from 2007 to 2009.
