Department of Physics

Welcome to the Physics Department at Marshall University. Physics is the most fundamental of the natural sciences and is the foundation upon which all science, engineering, and technology is built. We offer coursework leading toward the B.S. degree in physics. A Major in physics not only provides students with a broad array of knowledge in the physical and natural sciences, but also in mathematics, humanities, and social sciences.
