Proposed Policies
The Marshall University Board of Governors periodically approves new polices or amends existing policies controlling Marshall University. In order to ensure all constituencies have had an opportunity to comment on such actions, notices of proposed rulemaking are distributed to certain members of the Marshall community, including constituency representatives to the Marshall University Board of Governors and others identified in the Board’s “Policy on Rulemaking.”
The draft policy listed below is now available for comment.
MUBOG FA-10 Assessment, Collection, and Refund of Student Tuition and Fees
“MUBOG FA-10 Assessment, Collection, and Refund of Student Tuition and Fees” amends the existing version of this policy to address changes to the refund schedule in the new HEPC Series 32. Refund procedures were also bought in line with other WV universities. Additionally, extraneous and duplicative text of WV Code has been removed where appropriate. Changes from the original policy are indicated by underlines (additions) and strikethroughs (deletions).
A vote on this policy is anticipated at the next Board of Governors meeting scheduled on or around June 18, 2012. The comment period for this policy is now open and will continue until 10am on June 4, 2012.
Comments should be sent via paper mail only (USPS mail or campus mail) to:
