the blend of disciplines that will position and advantage Marshall
University in the future?

prepare and transition ourselves for this new world of opportunity?

effectively link these new educational endeavors in with
research/scholarly activity?

constellations of new degrees hold the greatest promise for
distinguishing and elevating the competitiveness of Marshall University
for external support?

develop a financially self-sustaining, adaptive and self-generative
models of new degree programs at Marshall University?

What is
the balance we are seeking to establish with regard to the nature (e.g.,
scholarship of teaching, service, original, applied, etc.), caliber
(e.g., number of graduates), and quality (e.g. benchmarking with the
same programs at other institutions) of these new scholarly activity
expected?
A list of
New Programs/Schools emerged from over 800 submissions received during the
Strategic Vision idea generation stage. It is organized in alphabetical
order first on primary degree area and secondly on a detailed area of
emphasis.
