On February 3, 2006, President Kopp appointed a Program Committee to prepare for the construction of three new capital projects.  The cornerstone of the three components will be the Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center. This facility will enable the University to provide a wide array of healthy activities and programs for the entire University community.  Complementing the center will be a new residence hall that combines first-class residential accommodations with academic and personal development components in a living-learning environment.  Accommodations for visiting faculty members and scholars, common areas that promote interaction, and even classroom space will be included in this new facility.  Finally, additional parking space will be provided through the construction of a Parking Garage.
