Discussed possible committees/ positions that still need filled, as of the time of this email we still need a Webmaster and Newsletter Officer. If anyone would like to head one of these committees or co-head another you are welcome.
Reminder that dues are accepted until September 30^th, feel free to leave a check in an envelope with Michael�s name on it in the Psi Chi mailbox, 3^rd floor copy room.
Psych Awareness Week has been scheduled for October 20^th �24^th. Wed, Oct 22^nd is faculty/member pizza party from 11:30 to 12:30. We are looking for more ideas for possible speakers each day�they don�t have to be Marshall faculty, anyone in our field who would be willing to discuss a current/special topic that would be interesting for students. We are discussing the following: Dr. Baker, Dr. Lewis, Dr. Beard, and David Trumpower.
Our induction ceremony is set for October 21^st, 7:30 in the John Marshall Room of MSC. We agreed on a sit down meal where we are served. Additional volunteers will be needed to help plan the menu, decorations, etc.
Fundraising ideas were discussed, possibly a lunch time pizza sale on the plaza, it would be great if we could get the pizzas donated, hot dog sale, t-shirt sale-for not only Psi Chi but for psychology�students and faculty.
New Members were voted in. Congratulations to: Briana J. Richards, Rachel Frye, Kyla Merilli, Elizabeth King, Treisa Martin, Chad Stage, Brandi Parsons, and Anna Lee Fauber
