In addition to everything discussed in Monday�s meeting:
We discussed, like last year, a �themed� psych awareness week, depending on our speakers for each particular day, for example violence against women day
Fundraisers-Michael Turner came up with the idea for a Psi Chi sponsored Hot Dog Eating Contest, as part of homecoming week activities. Jill is to check with Stewarts for possible donations. We tossed around ideas for prizes, gift certificates, a TV donated from Wal-mart, etc.
Discussion of point system for this year. Our goal for this semester is for everyone to strive for at least 10 points.
We are still encouraging members to speak with their own, or other psych classes about Psi Chi. �Blurbs� are provided for this purpose; see Ashley Hunt for the classes that still need visitors.
We set our goal for community service for at least 1 per month. Discussed possibility of hospice, habitat for humanity, contact, etc.
Signed up volunteers for �Sweat Equity� day, Saturday 13^th from 10-12.
