• We are still looking for someone to take over the responsibility of Webmaster from Michael; we need someone creative as well as computer literate.

• The position of Newsletter Officer needs to be filled.  This position would include the privilege of working with Dr. Mulder on things like weekly opinion polls, professor star column, event announcements calendar, etc.

• A special thank you to the following students who accepted committee assignments:  (any are welcome to join one of these committees)

• A reminder to all who can/would like to speak with Psy classes about Psi Chi, email Sarah for dates, we are asking everyone to set a goal of at least two classes this semester.

• Tentatively set Saturday, October 11^th for our (at least 2 hour) Habitat for Humanity project.  Gerrod Negley is heading this up and should have more info in the following week.

• Dues must be in by SEPTEMBER 30^th

• Ideas for themed days for Psych Awareness Week, October 20^th- 24^th, suggestions for days, speakers etc. see Sara Wilson-Jarvis or Holly West

• Volunteers are needed to organize the faculty/member pizza party on October 22nd

• Volunteers are needed to help Dr. Mulder with the silent auction

• Invitations for the induction ceremony, set for October 21^st at 7:30 will be sent out, volunteers to help in planning, decorating are welcome.

• Everyone agreed to the selling candles fundraiser, Gerrod should be bringing more info to next weeks meetings.

• Misha is checking on the specifics for T-Shirt sales.

• Stewarts has agreed to donate hot dogs for our fundraiser, selling them around lunchtime, on the plaza, $1.00 each, no dates have been set.

• Discussed/voted on either Atlanta or D.C. for conference goal this year.

• Congratulations to the newly voted in members of Psi Chi:
