BAS PROGRAM OVERVIEW

MARSHALL UNIVERSITY BACHELOR OF APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREE PROGRAM

Marshall University’s Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Degree Program is a program designed for students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science degree at a regionally accredited two-year institution such as a community and technical college. Since the credits accumulated in these types of programs may not readily transfer to traditional baccalaureate programs, the BAS degree was designed to provide these students an opportunity to advance their professional skills. Working with an academic advisor, each student finalizes their degree program to include selection of an Area of Emphasis that best fits the individual’s needs. Marshall University’s BAS Degree Program conforms to the statewide guidelines published by the Higher Education Policy Commission.
