
CREDIT BY EXAMINATION
There are several possible options for obtaining course credit by examination:

Challenge exams for specific courses are offered at Marshall University and
at the Marshall Community and Technical College in many academic
departments. Information can be obtained by contacting the chairperson in
the relevant department.

The Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Educational Support (DANTES), for service members who need alternatives to
fulfill degree requirements when classroom courses are unavailable or when
work schedules or duty locations do not permit class attendance.
