The Office of the Vice President for Research plays a role in strategizing the research infrastructure of the University in order to help build the institution’s existing research base, providing support and assistance for faculty and students conducting research throughout the University. The office also develops and promotes scholarly research, and sponsored programs across all disciplines, and it will work to enhance awareness of the significance and the value of the University to the residents of West Virginia.
