Meal Plan Options
Meal Plans are mandatory for all students living on campus.
We offer some great perks for purchasing your meal plan:
- Complimentary snacks at our late night dining experience at Twin Towers Monday through Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Great special event dinners held once per week and two large events per semester with an exciting fresh menu and giveaways for the students participating.
- One etiquette dinner per semester. You will learn proper European etiquette while enjoying a delicious seven-course meal.
Meal Plan Options
- The unlimited meal plan (required of all freshman) provides the opportunity for students to eat in the Twin Towers or Harless dining halls as many times as they wish. For example, a student may eat breakfast in Twin Towers at 7:00 a.m. then return to Harless for coffee and a snack at 9:00 a.m. The plan also includes $50 of flex dining dollars to be used at any food venue on campus, such as the Memorial Student Center food court, Drinko Coffee Shop, Sweet Sensations, or the Holderby Convenience Store. The unlimited plan DOES NOT include the option of a to-go box in the cafeterias or the option of being able to use your meal plan (cash equivalency) in the Memorial Student Center food court.
- The 15-meal per week plan can be selected by students who have achieved sophomore status. They may eat any 15 of the 19 meals offered by Marshall University Dining Services each week. Students may also use multiple meals during a single meal time. There are no longer time restrictions on when you may eat a meal, for example, a student may eat lunch at 11:00 a.m. and then return for a snack at 1:00 p.m. the same day. This plan may be used at Twin Towers or Harless, or as cash equivalency at the Memorial Student Center food court. This plan also allows students to obtain a to-go box on weekdays from the Harless and Twin Towers dining halls. These to-go boxes will be pre-packaged by the dining services staff from a selected number of options.
- The 10-meal per week plan will continue to be offered to juniors and seniors. This plan works the same as the 15-meal plan, but allows students to eat only 10 meals per week, anytime.
