Student Resource Center on the South Charleston Campus

Meet Jennifer Henning

JenniferHenningShe’s the Student Resource Specialist for the South Charleston campus. Her office is your one-stop source for the information you need as you attend Marshall as an undergraduate on the South Charleston campus. She can assist you with career exploration and connections to your academic advisors on the Huntington campus as well. In addition, she will be working to enhance your campus experience at Marshall, with involvement in university projects like Thundering Serve, library events and other student activities.

Jennifer is starting her second academic year in higher education, as she worked as an intern for the Office of Student Involvement, Leadership, and Greek Life at Marshall on the Huntington Campus during her master’s degree coursework. Before that, she worked in the mental health field as a care coordinator for clients diagnosed with severe mental illnesses and as a psychometrician administering psychological testing. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from West Virginia State University, attended one year at University of Alabama in the Master of Arts Educational Psychology program, and then graduated with her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration through West Virginia University. Jennifer is very excited to continue her journey with the Marshall University community and to be as involved as she can in promoting a positive and successful experience for the students at Marshall University.

If you have a question, be sure to check with Jennifer first—she will probably be able to help you!
