The Marshall University College Courses in the High Schools
program gives high school students the opportunity to earn both
high school and college credit in the same course.
One attractive feature of this program is that College
Courses in the High Schools are offered at a reduced cost,
which is approximately 1/3 the cost of an on-campus course offered
by Marshall University.
Marshall University courses are taught in local high schools by
qualified high school teachers, as well as on Marshall University
campuses.
The CCHS Program currently serves the following high schools:
Spring Valley High School
Wayne High School
Tolsia High School
St. Joseph High School
Cabell Midland High School
Huntington High School
Elkins High School
Randolph County Vocation Technical Center
Harman High School
South Charleston High School
PLEASE NOTE: Classes are open to qualified high
school students in their junior or senior year as well as students
not yet high school juniors. Acceptance requirements are noted below.
