Welcome to the School of Extended Education
I wish to extend to you greetings and a warm welcome to the Marshall
University’s School of Extended Education!
The School of Extended Education was created in 1993 to provide
the citizens of West Virginia with access to college level courses
and programs.
We serve adult students who wish to complete a college degree they
may have started but were never able to finish, students who live
far from our main campuses, West Virginia National Guard personnel
and their families throughout the state, and high school students
who meet the requirements to take college courses.
We look forward to the opportunity to help you achieve your educational
goals.
I encourage you to view the SEE web pages and discover the academic
programs that meet your needs. To paraphrase Werner von Braun, “Don’t
tell me that you don’t belong here. You belong wherever you want
to go – and you’ll do plenty well when you get there.”
Aim high – it is your turn to learn. If I or the SEE staff can
be of any assistance please give us a call. Thanks much!
Best wishes to your future success,

Donovan Combs
Dean, School of Extended Education
