John Marshall Honors Scholarship
(Up to $1,750) – Awarded to first-time freshmen with a minimum ACT Composite Score of 30 (SAT Score of at least 1330 CR + M) and a 3.5 H.S. Grade Point Average who are admitted to Marshall University by May 15 and accept admission into the Honors College.
Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov and apply for WV Promise Scholarship at www.cfwv.com by March 1 during their senior year of high school to receive this scholarship.
This is a 4-year scholarship that is renewable. The renewal criteria are as follows:
- Maintain good standing with the Honors College
- Successfully complete at least 26 credits each academic year
- Earn at least a 3.2 cumulative Grade Point Average by the end of freshman year
- Earn at least a 3.5 cumulative Grade Point Average by the end of sophomore and junior years
John Marshall Honors Scholarship recipients also qualify to receive the Presidential Scholarship.
