crash and the rebuilding process afterward made its debut in

- This year's Huntington Dance Theatre's performances of "The
Nutcracker" will benefit Dress for Success River Cities.

- A report by Marshall business and political science faculty
members on the City of Huntington's operations was released Nov. 30.
PreK-12Grant from National Science Foundation
- Marshall and the
University of Kentucky will cooperate in training math and science
teachers in 5 West Virginia counties.
Honoring Donors
- Marshall welcomed the Maier Foundation to the Pathway of
Prominence and honored major benefactors of the Robert C. Byrd
Biotechnology Science Center.
Quoits Tournament
- President Kopp invited members of the local news media to
participate in a tournament of quoits, which was John Marshall's
favorite game.
State of the University
- President Kopp gave the State of the University address Sept.
14. This is a Marshall tradition at the first general faculty
meeting of the year.
WMUL Disc Jockey Broadcasts for 88
Hours
- To kick off the celebration of the station's 45 anniversary,
disc jockey Terry Bartley stayed on the air for 88 hours.
State of the University Address
- Marshall University President Stephen J. Kopp traveled to
Washington, D.C. to meet with Congressional representatives and
staff members and give his State of the University address.
