Our Spring performance is May 24, 2014. It is held at the Joan C. Edwards Playhouse Marshall University.
The first ballet of the Spring performance is an original by Ella Hay featuring the younger students of the school.
The second ballet of the Spring performance is a classical ballet featuring the more advanced students and guest artists.
This year the ACSD will perform Sleeping Beauty.
True Impact Performing and Visual Arts, LLC is a contemporary Christian academy for the performing and visual arts located in Barboursville, WV. The school offers professional instruction in ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, modern dance, sewing, visual art, and vocal. We also offer recreational classes perfect for the preschool aged child including Baby Steps for Christ and Little Steps for Christ.
All students on Marshall’s campus (full and part-time) are invited and encouraged to take part in the auditions for the fall productions of: THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER, a new adaption of the Mark Twain novel by Laura Eason, and THE THREE SISTERS, by Anton Chekhov.

Prepare two contrasting, one-minute monologues that reflect the sensibilities of the plays. Although memorized selections are required for Theatre majors, non-majors are not required to present memorized material. Performance resume and head-shots are also encouraged.
