The Marshall University Chorus is the large, non-auditioned choral ensemble on campus.  Drawing students from all majors and experience levels, the choir routinely performs at least two concerts every semester with music ranging from Victoria and Vivaldi to Hogan and Lauridsen.  Under the direction of Mr. Robert Wray, the ensemble has worked closely with composer Evan Mack, presenting the world premiers of his Langston Hughes’ Dream of Freedom and The Fountain.  University Chorus has also performed the West Virginia premiers of Carol Barnett’s The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass with Don Rigsby and Friends and Te Deum by Jon Veenker with the Marshall University Wind Symphony.
