Howard Hevener is the descendent of Nicholas Hevener one of four brothers who came to the United States from Germany in the mid 1700’s. Mr. Hevener was born on 11/30/13 and died on 12/8/01 at age 88. He resided on farmland held by the family for generations until his death in December of 2001.

Mr. Hevener was very helpful during the interview and he appears in the video portion on these accounts. He gave much of his time during the interview and shared much of the family history. He drove us to some remote areas of property he owned. He shared old book and financial ledgers. There exist within this family a proud and rich heritage.
