Kerth Snyder was born 6/19/13 and died 6/20/1995.  He operated a Deer hide tanning plant on State Route 28 south of Greenbank.  This interview gives further indication of the economic tie-in to the lumber industry.  During the interview large trucks and other vehicles can be heard in the background.
