The Special Collections Department is located on the third floor of the West Wing of the library. The department is open to students, faculty and the general public. A reading room is located on the third floor for patrons using material from the collections. Hours of operation for the department vary according to staffing and University schedule so it is advised that patrons contact the department prior to coming to campus. Due to the nature and age of some of our items, a Closed Stack Policy must be maintained. Departmental staff members are well versed in the collections and will assist patrons in obtaining the materials listed in this guide.
