  Come Back to the Farm presents a collection of sixteen stories by Jesse Stuart, which reflected his love and passion for the people of Kentucky and Appalachia. They stories are gentle in tone, but still portrays the spirit of self-reliance of the people of the mountains of eastern Kentucky. There is, of course, the tales of  drama,  humor and courage, all so typically found in Stuart's depiction  of the hill people  his homeland. Stuart remains among the finest regional writers on the united States.
