Fire Inspection Check list Fraternities and Sororities

___ Fire alarm system maintained and inspected by qualified personnel.

___ Fire extinguishers serviced and inspected.

___ Range hood serviced and inspected.

___ All exits, stairways, exits corridors clean of debris.

___ Furnace rooms and storage rooms must be clean and free of combustibles.

___ Emergency lighting checked and operational.

___ Exit signs operational.

___ Electrical extension cords shall not be used in place of permanent electrical wiring.

___ All vertical opening must be sealed and missing ceiling tile replaced.

___ Provide electric hardwired smoke detector in each sleeping room.
