policy (PDF) Student Activities organization recognition form (PDF)

Panhellenic Policies Hazing Statement Hazing is any willful act or practice by an active or new member, directed against another member, which, with or without intent, is likely to harm, danger or embarrass any parties involved. This also includes any requirement compelling a member to perform such actions. Marshall University believes hazing has no place in student organizations and does not tolerate any form of it. A potential new member is not required to do anything she does not want to. If a potential new member experiences any of the preceding actions, she should notify her Recruitment Counselor immediately. Nondiscrimination Statement Every student organization recognized by Marshall University is expected to be free to select its membership upon the basis of individual merit without regard to race, color, ethnic origin, religious affiliation, age, physical or psychological handicap, or sexual preference. |
