Marshall University's Panhellenic Council (PHC) is the governing body of the five National Panhellenic Conference sororities on campus. Our executive board meets once a week, as does the entire council, to discuss matters and address ideas concerning the improvement of our sororities on both local and national levels. Through recruitment, MU women will have the opportunity to become a part of one of these diverse organizations and PHC as a whole!

As a non-Greek, you may wonder what this thing we call sorority is really all about. Participating in recruitment can be a way to discover the true meaning of the friendship, service and opportunities that come from being a part of Greek life.

Sorority membership recruitment is open to all women attending Marshall University. The entire Greek community looks forward to your arrival on campus and to meeting you during recruitment. Sorority women have been an integral part of Marshall University for over 85 years. We pride ourselves in maintaining good scholarship, high philanthropic standards and unparalleled leadership.

Sorority living also offers a sense of accomplishment, unified sisterhood and spirited individual growth. Each chapter, in its own way, offers something unique for each of its members. Take the time to carefully consider taking part in recruitment we're sure you will find it worthwhile.

The mission statement of the National Panhellenic Council promotes five main principles: VALUES, EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP, COOPERATION, CITIZENSHIP
