Student Affairs Builds Supportive and Inclusive Communities

Develop strong bridges between or incorporate with our unit, other supportive units, e.g.: Help Program, Community and Technical College, Orientation, Residence Service, International Programs, University College.	3 years
Create and continuing programming that unites students and affirms positive decision-making and behaviors.	2 years
Advocate for inclusion of students in university planning and decision-making.	2 years

Fraternities, sororities and student government need programming and assistance in support of inclusive community building.	3 years
Create programming opportunities for the empowerment of students. This can also be done through leadership development training, Student Fee Committee, Student Conduct and Welfare Committee.	2 years
Find ways to publicly acknowledge people and groups who are inclusive and supportive.	1 year
Sponsor more substance free options that promote tradition, and enhance student connection to the University, e.g." university wide pep rallies, bike racing, play station tournaments, float building, leadership retreats.	2 years
Establish a council of representatives from various university units to foster communication and develop integrated programs.	1 year
