The choice to rent an apartment or house is exciting and is often considered a step toward independence. As with all new endeavors, renting represents an opportunity to explore new ground and make new choices.

With choice comes legal rights and responsibilities, and being familiar with tenant/lessor law and rental agreements enables you to protect yourself. It is for this reason, The Student Guide To Renting guide has been prepared.
