Open Auditions for Marshall University School of Theatre’s Spring Season of Shows

SINGERS AND DANCERS (of all majors) ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!

Auditions for Circle Mirror Transformation and Guys and Dolls will take place on Wednesday, December 7th at 6:30 PM in the Francis-Booth Experimental Theatre in the Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center. Students should prepare a contemporary monologue and 16 bars of a song from either traditional Broadway standards or The Great American Song Book (Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer, etc.…)

Call backs for Circle Mirror Transformation will take place at 7PM on Thursday, December 8th and for Guys and Dolls at 7PM on Friday, December 9th—Both will be in the Francis Booth Experimental Theatre and will require assigned readings from the scripts.

A DANCE audition will be held on Saturday, December 10th at 10 AM—Anyone who is primarily interested in dance for Guys and Dolls should plan to attend this call (also in the Francis-Booth Experimental Theatre). Students auditioning as dancers will be taught a combination to perform in groups. Proper shoes and clothing are required.

Those auditioning should use the Box Office entrance of the Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center which is located on 5th Ave. directly across the street from the Memorial Student Center.

AUDITIONS FOR ALL SHOWS ARE OPEN TO ALL MARSHALL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS—NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
