RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. At no time will any Je Ja (student) enter the Do Chang (training hall) with shoes on.
2. Je Ja who enter or leave the Do Chang will acknowledge with a Kyong Yet (bow).
3. Je Ja who are late for class will ask permission of the instructor to attend.
4. Never question (contradict) the word of your instructor.
5. No jewelry or chewing gum will be allowed in class.
6. Talk on the floor only when asking a question of the instructor.
7. During the class period, there will be no talking or laughter.
8. No profanity will be allowed in the Do Chang.
9. No Je Ja are permitted to smoke in the Do Chang. If Je Ja must eat, drink, or smoke with the Do Bok (uniform) on, the belt must be removed and placed around the neck.
10. The Master Instructor will be addressed as Sah Bum Nim.
11. Never smoke in the presence of the Sah Bum Nim.
12. Black belt holders will address Yu Dan Ja with appropriate titles, such as Mr., Mrs., or Dr.
13. Whenever the Sah Bum Nim is holding class, the Je Ja will not approach him directly, rather he will approach the senior belt holder and ask his permission first.
14. Show respect and love between senior and junior ranks.
15. You will conduct yourself outside of class as a lady or gentleman and a true Tae Kwon Do representative at all times.
16. Tae kwon Do will be used only as a means of self-defense: to protect yourself, your families, and the weak.
17. Failure to comply with the above can result in:
a) Dismissal from class,
b) Period of probation,
c) Loss of grade (Gup and Dan),
d) Loss of grade and suspension from all activities,
e) Dismissal from the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and all its affiliates.
