| Michelle became Director of University College in summer 2003. She started at Marshall in 1996 as Director of the Buck Harless Student Athlete Program. She is originally from Virginia. In May 2005 she finished her Ed. S. from Marshall. Her masters degree in Athletic Administration came from Eastern Kentucky University (1993) and her bachelor of science in Sports Management/Business Administration from Virginia Intermont College (1992). Michelle’s outside interests include tennis, travel, photography, house/garden projects, and quality time with her dog, Winston. |

| Trish is an advisor at University College. She also coordinates the tutoring program and the Majors, Minors & More! fair each fall and spring. Trish has been at Marshall University since 1984. She will graduate with an M.S in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University in May 2010. She earned her B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Mountain State University in 2002. Trish previously worked in the Career Services Center and in the Bursar's office here at Marshall. Her outside interests include reading (anything and everything!) and crossword puzzles. |

Kendra is the newest member of the advising team in University College and coordinates the Math Workshop and the National Student Exchange (NSE) program, and placement testing for English and Math at Marshall. Kendra graduated from Marshall University with a B.A. in Counseling and an M.S. in Adult and Technical Education. She is currently taking classes in Communications. Before joining UC, Kendra worked as an Academic Advisor in the College of Science. She also teaches a section of COL 138 for the Community and Technical College. In her free time, Kendra enjoys walking, spending time with family and friends, watching Marshall football, listening to the Marshall Band, working part-time at Weight Watchers, and making crafts. |

Jake rounds out the team of advisors being the newest advisor to join the University College, where he serves as the Advising Coordinator. Jake has been at Marshall University for 5 years working as a Counselor for the Upward Bound Program. He has his M.S. in Training Development from Marshall University and is currently working towards an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. When Jake is not working or at school, you can usually find him somewhere in the great outdoors. |

Benji completed his undergraduate studies in the summer of '09 with a degree in Biology. Currently he is enrolled in the School of Kinesiology and working on a master's degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Benji's hobbies are spending time with his wife Natalie, and training in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He also loves music and his favorite band of all time is Rush.

| Chris Atkins is a Graduate Assistant working in the University College. Chris will be working on the freshman transition college. Teaching UNI 102, and 201. Chris is a graduate student getting his masters in journalism. He also co-teaches JMC 350 and 351 which is television reporting. While not on the campus of Marshall University Chris spends most of his time at WSAZ-TV in Huntington WV. He produces the weekend six and eleven o'clock newscasts. Feel free to stop by and hang out anytime. |
