Awards announced from United High School Media convention at Marshall

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Students from high schools in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky took part in workshops and competed for awards in newspaper and yearbook journalism at the 79^th United High School Media convention on Friday, Feb. 17 at Marshall University.

The event was sponsored by Marshall’s W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Here is a list of the awards which were presented at the convention’s banquet:
