A segment featuring Marshall University’s high-tech visualization laboratory recently aired on the West Virginia Public Television program “This Week in West Virginia.” The story explored how mine safety officials and medical researchers are using the facility to further their work.
The story was part of a new series, “Mountain State Science,” intended to highlight science and research in West Virginia. The series is made possible with support from the West Virginia Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research.
On Feb. 25, “Mountain State Science” will focus on Marshall’s MU-ADVANCE initiative to increase recruitment and retention of female science and engineering faculty.
