For the past several years the classified staff has participated in a holiday project and this year they will be collecting items for the Barboursville Veterans Home.
Donations, which will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13., can be dropped off at the following locations:
Old Main basement mail room – Leonard Lovely
Memorial Student Center – William “Tootie”Carter
Department of Housing and Residence Life, Holderby Hall 104 – Miriah Young
College of Education – Jenkins Hall 232 – Toni Ferguson
Physical Plant, Sorrell Maintenance Building – Anita Hill
South Charleston campus – GC 304 – Joyce Harrah
Suggested items include hand lotion, deodorant, aftershave, shaving cream, nail clippers, razors, toothbrushes/toothpaste, body wash, hair brushes, combs, picks, denture cleaner, denture cups, writing pads/pens, hats/gloves/scarves, socks, handkerchiefs, tissues, all occasion cards, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, candy, men’s t-shirts or sweatshirts in sizes medium through 5XL ( sports themed shirts also accepted), other men’s clothing, books, DVDs magazines, games and crafts.
Toiletries can be travel-sized. Clothing and other
non-toiletry items can be gently used.
