The Classified Staff Council will hold an election on Sept. 7 through 10 to fill current vacancies. The staff members elected to these positions will finish the remainder of the current term which will end on June 30th, 2013. Vacancies to be filled include the following:
One vacancy in EEO 10 – Executive, Administrative
Nominee is: Tanya Ramsey – Finance
One vacancy in EEO 40 – Technical and Paraprofessional;
Nominees are: Valerie Smith – Housing
Amanda Dailey – Controller’s Office
One vacancy in EEO 50 – Clerical;
Nominees are: Michelle Ruppert – Counseling
Nancy Tresch-Reneau - Psychology
One vacancy for the Representative to the Advisory Council for
Classified Employees (ACCE)
Nominee is: Carol Hurula – Academic Affairs (interim incumbent)
One vacancy for the Classified Staff
Representative to the Marshall University Institutional Board of
Nominees are: Miriah Young – Housing (interim incumbent)
Jonathan Sutton – Finance
Electronic voting will be available from 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, through midnight Monday, Sept. 10. All voting will be electronic. There will be no paper ballot voting.
Voting Instructions: Here are the voting instructions to vote using the E-Vote system on the Marshall website:
Go to www.marshall.edu/mymu.
Enter your MUID (901 number) and pin.
Once logged in, select the Employee tab near the top of the myMu homepage.
In the center column of the Employee page there is a block titled E-Vote; click on the word “Click” in that box.
Follow the E-Vote instructions on the screen.
