Marshall University Theatre students who traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland, earlier this month will perform a special encore performance on Marshall’s Huntington campus. Performance of the show, titled "The Iliad, the Odyssey and All of Greek Mythology in 90 Minutes or Less," will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, in the Francis-Booth Experimental Theatre.
Admission is free, but reservations are requested. They may be made in advance by calling the box office at 304-696-2787.
On Aug. 2, 13 Marshall University Theatre students, along with Professor of Theatre Jack Cirillo, traveled to Edinburgh to participate in the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Marshall students were a part of more than 40,000 performances that happened in a three-week period in Scotland’s capital city.
"The experience for our students was nothing short of life changing," Cirillo said, "and there is little doubt that this opportunity for these young artists will add significantly to their Marshall University experience."
"Believe me, you won’t want to miss this
terrific command performance by some (now) very seasoned world travelers!"
