MUOnline Trouble Shooting

MUOnline GradeBook appears to be missing or gone from the course!

If you log into your MUOnline course, click GradeBook, and the GradeBook does NOT appear, you only see a blank screen...

First, do not panic, the GradeBook is not gone.

It is a Java issue. Listed below are 3 options to fix the problem.

Internet Explorer

Option 1 - Quickest fix:

In the Grade Book, right-click on blank screen and select "Refresh/Reload"

 

Option 2 - If that doesn't work try the following:

1.On Internet Explorer, click Tools, scroll to and click Internet Options.

2.Under the General tab, under Browsing history, click Delete...

3.Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete files

4.Click Yes

5.Click Close

6.Click OK

 

Mozilla Firefox

Option 1 - Quickest fix:

In the Grade Book, right click on blank screen scroll to This Frame, scroll to Reload Frame and left-click

 

Option 2 - Move on to Option 3

 

Both Browsers

Option 3 - To fix the JAVA problem:

  1. Look for the JAVA icon in the bottom right corner of the computer display.
  2. The icon looks like a steaming coffee cup.
  3. Right-click on the icon, scroll to and click Open Control Panel Click
  4. Allow in the next window and wait for a new window to appear.
  5. At the bottom of the next window under Temporary Files click Settings...
  6. At the bottom of the next window, click Delete Files...
  7. Make sure the 2 boxes are checked (Applications and Trace) Click OK,
  8. Click OK
  9. Click OK

NOTE:
