A mass e-mail message requesting participation in the Marshall “One Book”
program was sent through the Marshall University e-mail system on Monday
morning, 3-December 2007. A technical error occurred when a very large number
of campus e-mail addresses were blind carbon copied (BCC’ed) on the message.
This resulted in a server application error which caused a large number of
the BCC’ed e-mail addresses to appear in the body of the message.
