Marshall University Surplus Computer Sale

LEGAL NOTICE

Marshall University will conduct a special public sale, by written bid, on surplus computers.  Approximately 175 computers will be sold in lots of 8 or more with minimum bids on some lots.  Approximately 10 of the better computers will be sold individually.  Also for sale will be 24-port network hubs and chassis-based network hubs, as well as copiers and office equipment in unknown condition.  Detailed information will be available on this web page soon and will be updated as the sale date nears.

 The sale will be held Monday, April 11, 2005 from 9-3pm in the Dewco Building located at 5th. Ave. off 22nd St.(behind Steiner’s).  Registration and bid forms will be provided at the site.  Sealed bids will be opened on April 12 in the Purchasing Department.  Successful bidders will be contacted and will be required to pick up the items no later than April 14 from 9-3pm.  Cash payments or checks made payable to Marshall University will be required before the property can be removed.

 Marshall University reserves the right to reject any or all bids.  While most of the computers have been recently tested and operated (and documentation of such will be provided), the University takes no responsibility and makes no guarantee for items sold.  All property is offered for sale on an “as is-where is” basis.  No warranties or guarantees are given.

No software or operating system is included with any computer being sold unless stated otherwise. These computers are not authorized for reintroduction to the Marshall network by Marshall departments, faculty or staff.
