Marshall University Computing Services (UCS) is pleased to offer a CD/DVD duplicating and printing service.  The CDs and DVDs we provide have a white surface on which we print a color label that we can design for you.  This service is only available to Marshall faculty, staff, and students.

To take advantage of the service you need to provide a physical master CD/DVD for duplication.  Free assistance in creating a master disc can usually be found in the UCS 24-Hour Study Center where every machine has a CD and DVD burner.

Be assured we will not duplicate copyrighted material.

Cost:

Costs vary depending on the label you want and the size of the job.
 

Label design costs:

We’ll work with you to design the printed label.  The charge for simple label design/setup, for example the label is composed of simple strings of text and no graphics, is $10. 

More complex design assistance is available for $25 per hour.

Acceptable file types for graphics are: .ai, .psd, .jpg, .gif, .tif, and .png. Abode Illustrator format is preferred.
 

Materials costs:

$1.50 per CD and $2.50 per DVD for production runs less than 100 discs.
$1.25 per CD and $2.25 per DVD for production runs between 100 and 200 discs.
$1 per CD and $2 per DVD for production runs greater than 200 discs.

*Prices includes plain black disc sleeve with transparent window for each disc.

Payment:
Payment must be received before printing and duplication can begin.  Acceptable forms of payment are VISA, Master Card, and Marshall Pcard.

Defects:
CDs and DVDs will match the master and the graphics proofs approved, and will be free from manufacturing defects, or will be replaced FREE. Defects must be brought to attention of Marshall University Computing Services within 30 days.

Production and Turnaround Time:
We request 2 business days notice for all duplicating projects, 5 days notice if production size is greater than 250 discs.  Finished product may be picked up at the UCS Front Desk during normal business hours; and delivery by third-party can be negotiated.
