EXAMPLES: First, greet the caller and identify yourself.
For example, "Hello, this is (your name)." Then expand, using
something like the following:
- "I'm away from my desk right now,
but please leave a message after the tone and I'll return your call."
- "I'm in conference this afternoon
and can't be disturbed. Please leave a message after the tone and I'll
return your call after four o'clock."
- "I'm in training in Atlanta all this
week. You can call me there at (number), or leave a message after the
tone. I check my calls periodically during the day and will return your
call soon."
