HOLD     Keeps a call waiting while you check records or make another call. To hold a call and answer a waiting call, see Call Waiting.
     
To put a call on hold:   Press “R” (recall button) or Switchhook Dial Hold access code #8
     
To return to call on hold:   Hang up (You will be rung back by held call)
       Or
Press ‘“R” or Switchhook and dial the Hold code again
 

 

   
CONFERENCE   Extends 2-party call to 3-party conference.
     
To add 3rd party:   Press “R” or Switchhook (first caller is put on hold - will hear music)

Dial 3rd party - wait for answer

Announce to 3rd party that you are adding them to a conference call

Press “R” to connect all three parties

     
To drop 3rd party, busy tone, or no answer:   Press “R” (you are connected to original party)
 

 

   
CALL TRANSFER   Transfer your party to another party.
     
To transfer a call:   Press “R” (first caller is put on hold)

Dial other party to whom call is to be transferred

Wait until party answers, announce call, and hang up

     
To cancel transfer request:   Press “R” (You are reconnected to held party)
 

 

   
AUTOMATIC CALLBACK   Allows you to be automatically called back when you call an internal extension number and receive a busy tone.
     
If you get a busy tone:   Press “R” or Switchhook

Dial Automatic Callback activate code *5

Redial the busy extension number (you will hear confirmation tone)

Hang up (As soon as the busy party and you are both idle, you get 3-burst ringing. When you answer, other party gets regular ringing)

 

 

   
CALL FORWARDING   Temporarily sends your calls to another number.
     
To activate--lift handset and:   Dial Call Forwarding activate code - *2

Dial number to which you want your calls forwarded (Can forward to any local 7-digit number as well as on campus extensions)

     
To cancel -- lift handset and:   Dial Call Forwarding cancel code - #2
 

 

   
CALL PICKUP   Permits answering a call to someone in your pickup group from your own telephone.
     
To answer a ringing telephone in your pickup group:   Lift handset

Dial Call Pickup code -- #4

 

 

   
     
CALL WAITING   Allows a caller to a busy single-line telephone to wait for an answer.
     
To answer a waiting call after completing present call :   Complete call and hang up (you’ll be rung back if the caller is still waiting.)
     
To answer a waiting call by holding present call:   Press "R" or Switchhook

Dial Call Waiting access code -- #8

     
To return to first caller:   Press "R" or Switchhook

Dial Call Waiting access code -- #8 (you can alternate between parties as many times as you wish with this procedure.)

 

 

   
LAST NUMBER DIALED   Allows user to recall the last number dialed by using a code instead of redialing the number.
     
To use Last Number Dialed:   Lift handset

Dial Last Number Dialed access code -- #9 (Main Campus and MEB building)

 

 

   
CALL PARK   Allows user to answer a call on one telephone "park” the call then retrieve from another location.
     
To park a call and retrieve it from another location:   Press Switchhook

Dial Call Park access code -- 121

Hang up

     
To retrieve a parked call:   Get dial tone

Dial answerback code -- 128

Dial extension number that originally parked the call

 

 

   
SEND ALL CALLS   Redirects all calls to the coverage path previously set on the system.
     
To activate:   Dial Send All Calls activate code -- *3
To cancel:   Dial cancel code -- #3
 

 

   
ABBREVIATED DIAL LIST   Permits shorter dialing of stored numbers and access codes.
     
To program abbreviated dial list   Lift receiver, listen for dial tone

Press *O for system access

Dial system list “1”

Dial list member number (1 thru 0)

Dial desired telephone number (remember to use 9+ number for off campus and 9+ 1 +area code for long distance numbers)

Press the # sign when completed

Listen for confirmation tone.

Hang up

     
To call programmed number:   Lift receiver, listen for dial tone

Dial access code *7

Dial desired list member (1 thru 0)

 

 

   
     
TRANSFER TO AUDIX   Allows you to transfer a call that has covered to you or a call on which you have performed a call pickup directly to the AUDIX mailbox of the person to whom the call was placed originally.
     
To transfer to AUDIX:   Press "R" button

Dial code 165

Hang up
