Connecting to MUNet via wireless access point

Step 1.  If your portable workstation doesn't already have a wireless card you will need to purchase one.  The following is a list of local businesses that sell wireless network cards:
MU Bookstore
Best Buy
Circuit City




Marshall University Computing Services supports the following card types:
Wifi 802.11 G/A (recommended)
Wifi 802.11 G (minimum)
Wifi 802.11 B (minimum)


Please use the instructions provided by the card manufacturer for installation.


Step 2.  Download and Install the MUNet VPN Client. 

If in a wireless coverage area simply open a web browser and follow the directions that will appear on your computer screen.  *Note this will only work when using a wireless network connection.

Step 3. Run the MUNet VPN Client.
