This page will help you in the event of an actual emergency.

Attempt to "clean" the infected file with your anti-virus software. There should be an option within your anti-virus software to do this.

If you attempt to "clean" the infected file, and you determine that the file is unrecoverable, delete the file from your disk. This could be on a (Floppy disk (A:) disk, Hard Drive (C:), V drive (V:) and if received through email, from your inbox and Trash or deleted Items folder.

If all else fails, or you are thoroughly confused, call the Helpdesk @ ext. 3200, or 696-3200 (off campus)
