| CONTACT | 523-3447 | several programs are in place including telephone helplines for depression, grief, loneliness; rape crisis counseling, making daily calls to shut-in elderly or handicapped clients, and parents helpline. Must successfully complete a training course and be willing to work a minimum of 12 hours per month for at least one year. Helplines are open 24 hours/7 days week. Comprehensive training provides valuable and transferable interpersonal and counseling skills. Advanced training available for experienced committed volunteers. |
