The Marshall University Research Corporation (MURC) has announced a new series of professional development opportunities in grantsmanship. The workshops, which will be held in the Drinko Library, are designed specifically for Marshall University researchers, faculty and administrative staff.
Lunch is not provided; however, participants may bring their own lunches to the workshops. Registration is strongly encouraged and can be done online here.

Where is the Money?
Knowing how and where to search is critical for funding success. This generalized session will familiarize MU faculty and staff with resources and tools currently available to conduct funding searches. College-specific sessions will be formed upon request. These sessions will allow for more targeted funding searches. It will take place Wednesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 17, from noon – 12:45 .p.m. in DL 349 (W) DL 138 (Th).

This workshop shows how to put together a budget that meets a project’s needs and complies with agency and university regulations. Participants learn how MURC pre-award staff can assist in creating proposed budgets. It will be held Tuesday, April 8, and Friday, April 11, from noon – 12:45 p. m. in DL 138.
