The H.E.L.P. Program will be hosting its annual Dr. Paul E. Skeens Memorial Scramble 4 H.E.L.P. on Friday, Oct. 10, at Riviera Country Club in Lesage, West Virginia. All proceeds from the event will go towards providing scholarship funding to need-based learning disabled (dyslexia, specific learning disabilities, and/or Attention Deficit Disorder) students enrolled in the Higher Education for Learning Problems (H.E.L.P.) program.
H.E.L.P. is a self-supporting non-profit program under the College of Education & Professional Development. The college sector of the H.E.L.P. Program assists Marshall students in their academic courses as well as provides them with the necessary remedial instruction and time management and organization skills that are required to be successful in academics and in life.
Sponsors and players for the event are still needed. Contact Susie Bruhin at ext.6 -6473 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to register.
