In My Own Words

I started working at the radio station with my friend, Jordan Smith. We anchored the new on Fridays. It was only 15 minutes way back then. After that, I joined the music staff and Dj’ed rap, which lead me to becoming the hip hop producer at the radio station. I ‘ve worked with all the staff at WMUL and have met some of these most dedicated and hard-working people. I’m blessed to be around such talent and to consider my self a member of such a elite team.

Away from the station, I try to stay busy. I’m a member of several groups on campus:

Senator in Student Government.
Member of the Society of Outstanding Black Scholars
Member of Black United Students
Member of the Society of Poets
Former President, VP, and Treasurer of Resident Hall Association and Inter-Hall Governing Council

I enjoy listening to music and I always have my mp3 player with me. Carrying cds around was such a hassle.

I DJ parties, and was fortunate to DJ the afterparty of the WE ARE MARSHALL movie premiere.

I love all sports.

I love to laugh most of all.
