In My Own Words

I joined WMUL in the Fall of my freshman year. I joined as way to meet a bunch of different people with a similar major since I came to Marshall from 9.5 hours away in upstate New York and didn't know anyone. I started on the promotions staff and eventually moved to the news staff and have been a weather reporter, news reporter and anchor.

Joining WMUL was one of the best decisions I've made at Marshall. I have had the opportunity to meet so many great people and learn a lot about the field of Journalism. Getting involved really helps you get so much more out of the college experience.

Outside of school I love playing and watching sports as well as traveling.
