In My Own Words

Way back in 2004, I was a wee teenager and flocked to the WMUL booth on the plaza. I was sucked in, and 80 years later, I’m back. I graduated in 2009 with a degree in Radio and Television Production and Management and freelanced for several years before coming back to Marshall for a second degree in MIS. Things I did in the interim include producing two feature films, opening for Kepi Ghoulie and Defiance Ohio, acting as treasurer for a political campaign, and moving five times.
Don’t be nervous about getting involved with WMUL! It’s a lot of hard work sometimes but it’s a lot of fun. You’ll get exposed to some great music, meet new folks, and create something you’re proud of. It’s always felt like home to me, and everyone deserved that, especially you on the other end of this internet connection.
